Smoke Patch X16 (10.1.6) release for PES 2018, please read the patch information before downloading or installing smoke patch.











X16 General Features:
- includes konami PD2
- optional offline patch 1.03
- includes winter transfers
- all teams have correct names, logos and managers

konami DP and patch 1.03:
smoke patch includes by default all konami DP (DLC), also we added optional exe 1.03, we always build on the latest konami DP so the patch will always be fully compatible.


Winter transfers:
major transfers has been made in this winter transfer window, all transfers are made, some players are not found in smoke database so they are not added but will be added later, if we miss any transfers we will correct and include in future updates.

Teams and Players:

we always add teams and clubs to smoke patch, so far the teams added in smoke patch x version is listed in TEAMS 2018,.
participate in the polls we make periodically at the website to determined priorities for the teams and leagues to add in future versions.
players ID for smoke patch can be found in the patch DATABASE.

Leagues:

all fake leagues are replaced with real leagues
- Asia fake league: CSL league
- Europe fake league: Bundesliga
- America fake league: Liga Aguila
all leagues are licenced, in future updates we might create more optional leagues.


Installation:
- Extract patch files 
download all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders.

- Run SetupsmokeX16.exe
run the installer and choose PES 2018 installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully.


NOTES:
- no previous versions required, only the game and this version.
- do not use old edit00000 files (using older or other edit files will cause bugs)
- this patch is made to focus on offline modes, online feature will not find opponents due the difference between the patch system files and the original game.

PES 2017 SMoKE Patch 9.6 (X version)

Smoke Patch 9.6.0 (X version) release for PES 2017, please read the patch information before downloading or installing smoke patch.

This version have a reworked system files, it is important to start a NEW MASTER LEAGUE and BAL after installing this version, future versions will be based on this system files so no need to start new after this version.

it is necessary to mention that not all aspects of the patch is tested, since the database is converted from X version there might be some abnormalities that was not detected, but if any serious issue is reported it will be fixed in later updates.

Kits:

this version shares the same kits used for smoke patch for pes 2018, as we mentioned before, we give priority to apply real kits for teams instead of fake kits, we update kits for major clubs but not all teams have the kits of the current season, in each version we update more kits, special thanks to anyone who create updated kits and sent to us.

Teams:

the teams in this version are the same as in smoke patch for pes 2018, you can check the teams list here, more teams will be added in pes 2018 and 2017, all the teams are licensed in the patch, with the exception of two teams (pes united and we united) these two teams are left untouched for user customization.

all teams have correct attributes (coach, squads, stadium, ...)
the old league switcher will not work in this patch, will make new one when its done for patch 2018.

Players:
players stats and attributes are the latest konami stats of pes 2018, no fake players in the game (except in the two modifiable teams).

the face pack is the same as last version, no additional faces has been added, please note that we do not create faces but we add from pes-stars, also note that players in this version does not match exactly the same ID as in previous version, to add other faces refer to the new X database at the website, information tab.

Stadiums:
the same stadiums used in previous smoke patch is used now, with some minor enhancements and corrections.
the problem of stadium names in ML and BAL modes is resolved, all teams shows correct stadium name in all modes (this fix works with steam version only).
for low quality settings users, the same turf switcher can be used with this version.

Boots, Gloves and Balls:

same boots, gloves and balls used in this version, we might make a new packs in the future, meanwhile if you want to add a pack made by others you can replace the CPK files (without changing the dpfilelist)

Addons:

due to the major structural changes in the patch, not all smoke addons will work in this version, we will make new ones for both versions (pes 2017-pes 2018)

the turf switcher works fine and all smk extra slots system are also the same.


Installation:

- Extract patch files 

download all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders.

- Run Setupsmoke9.6x.exe

run the installer and choose PES 2017 installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully.

- new ML and BAL modes are required after installing patch 9.6.
- it is recommended to delete all files inside the download folder of the game before installing the patch to free up some disk space.
- no previous versions required, only the game and this version.

- this patch is made to focus on offline modes, online feature will not find opponents due the difference between the patch system files and the original game.

After the wait, elmohamadi finished working on the new smoke patch for pes 2013, smoke patch team does not have the resources to make updated versions for all pes series, currently making pes 2017 and 2018 patches.

dido_smoke agreed with elmohamadi to take charge of patching pes 2013 under smoke patch name, he is a well known patch maker who makes excellent quality patches, and now pes 2013 users can enjoy a new patch. PES 2013 does remain the best PES series till now even after so much improvements. What are your thoughts?

Smoke patch X16 and smoke patch 9.6X - Announcements!

Hello,  

So the winter transfers window is about to close, smoke patch for both versions (pes 2017 and 2018) will be released soon after the transfers finishes.

PES 2018 Smoke patch X16:
This will also be a full (AIO) release, although we might release updates only (not AIO) after this release to correct any missing transfers or other enhancements to the patch,


PES 2017 Smoke patch 9.6X:

This version is a new one, after dropping the old patch (9.5), we are preparing the release of the new patch which share the database of patch X16, this version will be updated regularly.

As mentioned before, this version share the database with pes 2018 (players, stats, leagues, teams, ...) but it also includes the stadiums, faces, balls and boots of the previous patch 9.5

The new patch is tested successfully in many aspects, but it is expected that some things might need tweaking or enhancements when discovered, so do not hesitate to report any errors you might find in the patch so we can improve it.

Announcement - patch X for pes 2017

Hello all,

As we mentioned before, the patch series 9 for pes 2017 will not be updated anymore, instead, we are making a new patch based on smoke patch x for pes 2018 along with files from the latest patch 9.5.

to see the teams in this patch check the features of the patch X15, the patch X for pes 2017 will be updated regularly with pes 2018, because we have managed to link both versions with the same database.


patch X for pes 2017 will have d features than 2018, some of them are:






- Faces
smoke patch 2017 have a lot of faces added to the game, almost all of them will be used in this version, but it is important to mention that the players ID are not similar to the previous version, we will prepare the new ID lists and upload it, will be available at www.smkdb.org

- Teams
teams in this version are less than what we added in previous version, every team we add in pes 2018 patch will be added in updates for patch 2017

- Leagues
the league switcher will not be available for this version yet, will be available when its done for 2018, the default leagues are (PEU: Bundesliga, PAS: CSL, PLA: Liga Aguila)

- Stadiums
the same stadiums will be available in this version, no changes in this regards, it is worth mentioning that the stadiums names are all set for all clubs and will show correctly in ML.

- Balls and Boots
no updates in our balls and boots packs, if you really need updated boots you can install from other boot makers by replacing one of the extra cpk files included in the patch.

- Addons
some of the addons will not work on this version, but the turf switcher (for low quality settings) and the scoreboard switcher will still work, although it will be updated when we make addons for pes 2018.

- Updates
this version will be updated simultaneously with patch 2018, since the database is shared between the two versions any updates or changes in this regards will be applied to both games.

Announcement - Smoke patch plans

hello,

please find below our smoke patch plans for pes 2017 and 2018, these are the two active patches and we are looking into making them share the same database.











PES 2018 smoke patch X series:

Right now, the focus on the X series is to add teams and nationals, in the upcoming version X15 there will be more than 60 new teams added compared to the last version (X14).

Also expected next version are updated boots and balls and other graphics, but no changes is expected concerning stadiums or faces, we are working on a script to convert pes 2017 faces to 2018 but it is not confirmed yet as the system files has changed a lot in pes 2018.

It is important to mention that after installing the next full version X15, starting a new Master league is important because we assigned the original konami ID to the added teams and we deleted the fake teams, this means that in old ML the teams deleted will show errors and the new teams will not show, this is why this version is taking longer to be released so that this ID changes wont affect the ML saves that will be started with X15, if everything goes according to plan, the new patch will be released before the end of the month.






PES 2017 smoke patch series:

As you might already know, a lot of users are complaining about a crash in master league, most users do not see this error and it does not show in any of our tests, we are considering dropping the patch, instead we are planning to make a hybrid patch between 9.5 and the X patch, this means making a completely new patch that is based on the database of the X15 patch.

As a result of this, a lot of database will change specially players ID, this means if you are one of the people who used to manually add faces will need to adapt the files with the new database.

Using this shared database will remove any possibility of crash in master league or be a legend, as we are using a new method and scripts in pes 2018 that will be used for pes 2017 patch. this will also mean that updating roasters for the upcoming winter transfer will be applied to the whole database and will be applied to both versions at the same time.

We will announce the exact plan when it is confirmed, a beta version might be ready after the release of the 2018 X15 patch.
